Berthoud Fire Protection District is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our community by making sure bike helmets are properly fitted.
Our Berthoud Fire Firefighters are available, by appointment, to help citizens properly fit their bike helmet. In addition, our department will provide a free bike helmet to underprivileged children in the Berthoud community.
There are many resources available for parents and caregivers, which provide great information and resources regarding bike safety.

Request a Bike Helmet Fitting
To schedule a bike helmet fitting, citizens may contact BFPD in the following ways:

Your request for a bike helmet fitting will be given to one of our firefighters who will call you to schedule an appointment
All bike helmet fittings will be performed at Station 1, 275 Mountain Avenue
